Laura is incredibly PRACTICAL when it comes to nutrition. I had the BEST experience working with Laura for nutrition guidance and education, which I still carry with me and apply today and every day! Laura is kind, caring, leads with empathy, and is truly an industry expert. When I decided I wanted to train for a triathlon and take on longer distance rides on my road bike I knew I needed to properly fuel before, during, and after training in order to feel well enough to function in everyday life and keep training. Laura is so knowledgeable about nutrition and the huge role it plays in healthy hormone function. She is very personable and attentive to her patients’ individual needs. She takes the time to really get to know you and what your body needs to be healthy. Then, she develops a personalized nutrition plan based on this. She goes above and beyond just basic blood work and digs further to find out underlying issues and causes for health conditions [...]. She explains everything in a very clear and understandable way. She takes a step by step approach, so the nutritional and lifestyle changes are not too much at once and are not overwhelming. The only reason I had to unfortunately stop seeing her was due to my insurance plan not covering appointment costs. However, Laura worked with me on billing and was very accommodating and reasonable with costs. I can honestly say that Laura truly cares about her patients and goes above and beyond to help them. I can’t say enough incredible things about working with Laura. Laura has quite literally saved my life. She makes nutrition fun and educational. I have worked with Laura for 5 years ranging from group classes to individual counseling. Laura is caring because she connects and invests in her clients. I have had very specific needs at different points in my journey with Laura and she invests her time (in and out of sessions) to support me. She follows up with small things mentioned during our counseling sessions about me personally. Laura will always meet me where I am and we will collaborate a game plan for the few weeks. Even if I fall short on my plan, at the next counseling session she listens and reflects on what I say and we create a better plan for next time.

Overall, I highly recommend working with Laura. She is incredibly smart and cares about all of her clients as if they are the only person on her caseload. I have been successful in building a positive and knowledgeable relationship with food thanks to Laura.
